A Twitter for Isaac (How I Became a Ghost)

I chose the twitter name @soon2bghost because as a kid, I used to use 2 for to, two, and too, and just “b” for be, so it seemed fitting for a young kid like Isaac to have the same laziness on social media. I chose the bio because the central premise for most of the novel was that Isaac was unsure when he was going to become a ghost. My first post was based on the first chunk of the book where Isaac continues to predict his death and the hashtags are for his emotions and the fact that he sees death before it happens, such as with Old Man and Old Woman and Mr. and Mrs. Jonah. The second post was akin to the confirmation that Isaac has become a ghost because Joseph decided to go hunt a deer and separate himself from Isaac, which let him be killed. The third tweet is a link to an “Ask Me Anything” reddit page, since now that Isaac is a ghost, he is free to help his people and ultimately becomes pivotal in the rescue of Naomi from the soldiers. The number of followers and following represent the number of ghosts that Isaac could see in his afterlife on his sliver of the Trail of Tears.

  2. Hi Chris,

I like the twitter handle and the use of hashtags. I couldn't actually find this handle on twitter, so I am not sure what the AMA reddit tweet links to. I do think more variety in the tweets could be useful to help us get more of a grasp on Isaac's voice and it would help if I could link to the Twitter page itself to see what the tweets link to, and if he is following anyone or anyone is following him, etc.
